This Arabic pre GCSE tier course is geared towards the upper beginner Arabic learner.
The methodology of this course uses a combination of several years of examiner experience, CEFR, and Pearson-Edexcel GCSE structure. It is geared towards an internationally recognised and accredited level 1 qualification. You will get plenty of practice lessons, and exercises, which are based on up to date language learning syllabus.

Course Overview
This level of study is an upper beginners course and may not be suitable for most beginners. See the short courses for entry level beginners. During this beginners study you shall build on the fundamental building blocks, tips, and skills required for further Arabic study and assessment. This course covers material for vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, writing, culture and speaking. It may be taken by pre-GCSE Arabic students or those with a general interest. The material in this course is suitable for most age groups.
As per Pearson-Edexcel recommendations; in each module, of this Arabic pre GCSE beginners course, you shall cover various language skills. This course will also feature topics from the five themes; 1. identity and culture, 2. local area, holiday and travel, 3. school, 4. future aspirations, study and work, 5. international and global dimension. The depth to which these topics and themes are covered will not be the same as the foundation, and higher tiers. All themes and topics are studied in the context of the U.K. and that of countries and communities where Arabic is spoken. Students are exposed to materials relating to Arabic-speaking countries throughout the course.
