This Arabic foundation tier course is geared towards the intermediate Arabic learner.
The methodology of this course uses a combination of several years of examiner experience, CEFR, and Pearson-Edexcel GCSE structure. It is geared towards an internationally recognised and accredited level 1 qualification. You will get plenty of practice lessons, and exercises, which are based on up to date language learning syllabus.
Arabic A1 Foundation
Course Overview
This level of study is a lower intermediate course and may not be suitable for some beginners. During this foundation tier Arabic study you shall build on the fundamental building blocks, tips, and skills required for foundation exams, or general learning. This course covers material including vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, writing, culture and speaking. It may be taken by GCSE Arabic students or those with a general interest. The material in this course is suitable for most age groups.
As per Pearson-Edexcel requirements; in each module, of this Arabic GCSE foundation tier course, you shall cover various language skills. This course will also feature topics from the five themes; 1. identity and culture, 2. local area, holiday and travel, 3. school, 4. future aspirations, study and work, 5. international and global dimension. All themes and topics are studied in the context of the U.K. and that of countries and communities where Arabic is spoken. Students are exposed to materials relating to Arabic-speaking countries throughout the course.
