Course Overview
This level of study is an upper intermediate to advanced Arabic course and may not be suitable for some lower intermediates. During this higher tier Arabic study you shall build on the fundamental building blocks, tips, and skills required for higher exams, or general learning. This course covers material including vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, writing, culture and speaking. It may be taken by GCSE Arabic students or those with a general interest. The material in this course is suitable for most age groups.
As per Pearson-Edexcel requirements; in each module, of this Arabic GCSE higher tier course, you shall cover various language skills. This course will also feature topics from the five themes; 1. identity and culture, 2. local area, holiday and travel, 3. school, 4. future aspirations, study and work, 5. international and global dimension. All themes and topics are studied in the context of the students home country, and that of countries and communities where Arabic is spoken. Students are exposed to materials relating to Arabic-speaking countries throughout the course.

Study option 1. (A2H Weekly and A2H Monthly): Two lessons weekly, consisting of one tutor based lesson, and one self study lesson – OR – Study option 2. (A2H Monthly Self-study): Two lessons weekly, consisting of two self study lessons, with access to tutor via messaging system and one tutor based lesson at the end of each month.
